|

Join us for the fifth annual Pass-Out run! Beginning from scenic Rattlesnake Lake just south of North Bend run the old Chicago/Milwaukee rail line high above I-90. The run culminates in a dark and cold finish 2.5 miles through the mountain, under the ski areas, and back to daylight at Hyak. Along the way enjoy crossing several old trestles, seeing waterfalls and mountain views, and occasional wildlife. Registration is $20 and covers an event T shirt and very basic support. If you don't need support or a shirt there is no cost. We hope to have a bicycle or two for chase, and we will have at least one water/fuel stop. There are portable restrooms along the way. Reminder: This is an unofficial run with all that implies! |

| Schedule and Support:
The run will start at approx. 0730 from the Rattlesnake Lake Education Center parking lot. At approximately the 9~10 mile mark the course will cross a gravel road where water/Gatorade and Clif bars will be available. Just before entering the tunnel there will be another support station with the aforementioned items along with your cold(er) weather gear and headlamps or flashlights. Approximately .25 mile past the far end of the tunnel enter the parking lot on the left for the end of the event. There will be water and stuff there too. Restrooms are available near the start, at approximately the 7 mile mark, at the Alice Creek campsite at approximately the 12 mile mark, and just before the tunnel entrance and after the tunnel. There may be other portables along the route too. |
