| This run takes you to the first of the high
trestles on the Iron Horse trail. The Change Creek trestle was washed out
for several years due to logs and debris washing down a flooded Change Creek
taking out the center supports for the trestle. It was repaired for
recreational use a few years back, but before that one had to hike down to
the creek and back up the other side to get around this section.
The Change Creek trestle area is also popular with the rock climbing crowd, and if you do this run on a dry day you're likely to see lots of climbers on the rock wall adjacent to the trail. |
