Rattlesnake Lake Loop 1.75 Miles
This makes a nice multi-loop training course as the elevation is varied and the surface is a mixture of grass, dirt, gravel, and blacktop.

| This loop starts from the road in front of
the little parking lot. As soon as you exit the parking lot look for the
trail heading south on your right. Stay on this dirt trail, crossing
several paths and a couple roads, until it intersects the paved lake
path. Stay south on the paved path paralleling Rattlesnake Lake until
you reach its end at the security gate. Turn left here and continue on
the road, passing the Watershed Education Center complex on your left.
Stay on this paved road past the gate at the Iron Horse parking lot.
You'll see the dirt trail on the other side of the road now. Cross over
and go down this gravel road until you see the trail crossing you
started from.
